Responsible for Morgan Stanley's business activities in the emerging markets of the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. - Involved in a variety of privatization projects in Turkey, India and Ar gentina. In Argentina Mr. Choucri acted as an advisor to the government concerning the Telecommunication company ENTel. - Holds a Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo and a BA from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University in Egypt. Mr. Fuad Aref Lahham Chairman & CEO, HC Syria - 45 years of international and local experience in management consultancy and strategic planning as well as marketing and production - Worked closely with the Syrian government during his tenure with Booz Allen Hamilton on creating Special Economic Zones to attract investments and modernize the economy - Retained as a special advisor by the Syrian government to provide consultancy services on the development of the local ICT sector - Holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in the United States and pursued an MBA from Northwestern University Mr. Razek Mamarbachi Board Member, HC Syria - Outstanding entrepreneurial background spanning the better part of 40 years - Moved to Syria in 1992 to participate in the new investment climate - Some of Mr. Mamarbachi’s most notable accomplishments include: • Establishment of a joint-venture with Nestle. This was a landmark achievement, as the first joint investment between a multinational firm and private Syrian company investors • Established a second joint-venture with Exxon-Mobil to manufacture automotive lube oils in Syria • Set-up a factory to produce S.C Johnson product, under license • Set-up the Marine contracting & Equipment leasing company to operate in the Arab world - Holds a BA & MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University © 2010 HC-SYRIA.
